Australia’s Top 100 Baby Names in 2019

It seems like we’re going to meet at least two Charlottes and Olivers in our lifetime.

The recent results released by McCrindle Research showed that Charlotte and Oliver has been at the top spot for names that parents give to their babies in the last three consecutive years. Just this year, 2,063 boys were named Oliver and 1,687 baby girls were given the name Charlotte.

Some names that made it to the top 100 were highly influenced by the British royalty as the study observed.

The baby name trends study which is done each year aims to observe how baby name trends change and the factors that influence it as this will help describe a particular era in the future.
