I don’t care what other mums wear on a school run…
If you are in your pyjamas with your hair all messed up that’s fine with me! You still got your kid to school! Good on you! However, not everyone agrees with my opinion.
Yep I’ve done it before. I’ve done the school run in my pyjamas and in my dressing gown (I just didn’t get out of the car).. It was my good pink dressing gown, though!
Mums get judged a lot. But, getting all dolled up just to go drop the kids off at school isn’t always practical for most of us.
So as a compromise, I’ve found a heap of really great little outfits that are practical, cute as a button, and most importantly, COMFORTABLE. Because sisters, we gave birth – stuff those high heel shoes, blush and lipstick. Easy and comfy is the way to go!
1. Long top + Leggings
Wearing printed leggings paired with a long top is not only comfy – it looks cosy and chic, too!
2. Top + shorts
The top and shorts option is flexible on the type of day I’m gonna be having which is why this is one of my favourite combos. If my day consists of meeting other mums or a teacher, I’ll put on a patterned shirt and shoes. If I’m going to drop off the kids and then get going, I’ll wear a loose white top and my favourite flip flops.
3. Sleveless top + Jeans
This one’s perfect for preggo mums or for mums who can’t take wearing anything with sleeves in this summer heat!
