We all know that coffee can have a pick me up effect on our energy levels. This means that when we take coffee and caffeine out of the equation we’re often left feeling slow, grumpy and generally fatigued. Unfortunately, there really isn’t any cure for this except a good night sleep. Remember, even if you don’t feel like an addict it can be very easy to become reliant on a substance like caffeine. When we stop consuming it, there will be withdrawal symptoms. Although not nearly as intense as coming off a serious drug, caffeine withdrawal can be a challenge to get through. Sometimes there’s nothing better to do than switch off and have an early night. It’s a long road to recovery.
