For some, sexual fetishes and kinks make their sex life a lot more EXCITING!! Others, well they might not understand the notion….

Now we are certainly not kink-shaming anyone here – but what turns people on is such a personal preference and some fetishes and kinks are just a little left of centre. For some people, they can be turned on by a look or a light touch. Some, on the other hand, find it a little more difficult.

There are those who get excited by plush toys, others who are fascinated with nappies, and yet others who are stimulated by the sight of their spouse sitting on a rigid surface!

Remember that not all kinks or fetishes are legal or safe. If you want to read more about scarier sexual fantasies, we recommend reading the article by the Advocate on terrifying sexual fantasties.

1. What Are Fetishes and Kinks?

What is a Fetish?

It’s related to the term “kink,” but the distinction is that anything becomes a fetish when it’s required in order for the individual to experience sexual arousal or orgasm. Whether it’s an act (such as having sex in public) or an item (like feet), understand that a fetish is something that an individual cannot get stimulated without.

For some individuals, merely daydreaming about the fetish may be enough, whilst others may need some kind of physical interaction with the item or activity.

What is a Kink?

The term “kink” refers to anything sexual that someone enjoys doing with himself or consensually with other people. This is often thought to be outside of standard sexual activities— a kink is generally associated with the inclusion of extra erotic intensity in sexual interaction.

2. What’s the Difference Between Fetishes and Kinks?

A kink is anything that arouses us yet is not regarded to be part of the normal sexual experience.  While this is obviously subjective and based on who we’re talking to, it’s simply something that you truly love doing but isn’t needed or even requested during every sex session.

On the other hand, in order to be sexually stimulated and enjoy sex, an individual often relies on some kind of fetish act or item to fulfil their desires.  As an example, if you have a foot fetish, odds are that the sex you’re having will not be pleasurable until feet or shoes are included in it.

Here Are The 50 Sexual Fetishes and Kinks You May Have Never Heard Of!

1. Tricophilia

Trichophilia, often known as a ‘Hair Fetish’, is a condition in which someone becomes titillated or drawn to human hair. The human hair used for this can be any type of body hair including chest hair, underarm hair, or pubic hair, among others.

“I like long hair, it arouses me, I like to touch it, on all parts of my body. For me, it’s just the same as boobs and butts, but because I repressed it for so long its a very powerful attraction”

2. Macrophilia

Macrophilia is defined as a fascination with a sexual fetish with giantesses or a very large person. The fantasy is usually focused on a larger person overpowering a smaller one. One of the most popular fantasies is for the macrophile to shrink before a regular-sized lady, or for him or her to maintain their usual height while the companion increases in size.

Many others include partners who, by their very nature, have a large size disparity.

“I’m a guy. For one reason or another since I was a kid I always fantasized about giants. I always imagined myself being a tiny dude in a place where everything was significantly bigger than me (like being 6 inches tall). Shows like Honey I Shrunk the Kids and the book The BFG was oddly fascinating to me.” – u/17life

3. Symorophilia

Symorophilia is the arousal and sexual attraction generated through the process of dealing with a catastrophe or comparable event. Those who suffer from symphorophilia may use images of natural disasters as triggers for their masturbation rituals. Symphorophiliacs, on the other hand, are so enamoured with catastrophe movies that they will go to great lengths to stage their own.

For instance, they are capable of purposefully colliding with their own cars. However, it is not the potential for self- or partner-harm or murder that stimulates sexual desire; rather, it is the act of risking one’s life, similar to a daredevil doing a perilous trick.

4. Axillism

Axillism is sex with the armpit. This particular obsession is comparable to other fetishes that are focused on a single body region and armpit sex is done in the same way as a foot job or hand job when the penis is inserted between the torso and arm, which is the armpit.

For people who experience axillism, however, the notion of having sex with the armpit is much more thrilling and enticing than the possibility of having sex with a vagina.

I can’t really generalise a whole crime. I like violent criminals so stuff that’s non-violent is less attractive and if it was done poorly – just dumb – that’s also not as hot. But it does depend a lot on appearance. Petty crimes like stealing or speeding aren’t as attractive.” – altphilia
