I do love a good steamy novel.

You know..for the storyline and all! If things are feeling a bit ‘meh’ in the bedroom then this may be the low-cost solution. Imagining Gideon Cross visiting your bedroom at night. Sigh.. He has such a big…. personality.

Here are the 12 of the most steamy romance novels according to Goodreads. These ones should have a warning saying not to be read in public. It makes you think really naughty thoughts!

1. Bared to You By Sylvia Day

Bared To You is on my top 1 because duh… Gideon Cross. I had such a fun time reading this. Sometimes I even had a big grin on my face lol. It’s quite sentimental and heartwarming.

2. Fifty Shades of Grey By E.L James

I gotta give the best in play of words to EL James. I’m not super into Christian Grey, but he’s soo bloody great in bed! bahaha. Anastasia is also a fascinating character for me. And the challenges Christian and Ana went through had me reading til past midnight!

3. On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

Ohh Braden is just super hot! I like how the two main characters met on plain coincidence and their connection is just electrifying! You’ll shed some tears as you approach the end of their story.

4. Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens

Just like how the main characters in this book has a love and hate relationship, I also have a love and hate thing going on with this book. The hot scenes are really fun to read, though! *wink*

5. This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas

This story is actually really predictable but I did enjoy reading it because the scenes are so damn sexy! Ava and Jesse has incredible chemistry and I think Kate and Sam are noteworthy, too since they added a lot to the story.

6. Rock Hard by Olivia Cunning

Hot guy with a really great voice? YES TAKE ME NOW!!! The women drool over Sed everytime he’s on stage and I quite imagine being there among them.

7. Easy by Tammara Webber

I love how cute, sweet and funny this book is in some parts. The cute twist made me grin a lot and even with the subject of rape, the writer made it classy and easy to read.

8. In Flight by R.K. Lilley

James and Bianca and their mind-blowing attraction is just! It’s a Fifty Shades of Grey knockoff that won’t leave you disappointed!

9. Mercy by Lucian Bane

If you want a book that gets you sucked in and extremely emotionally invested it’s like you’re on of the characters, then this is a must read! Aside from the hot hooooot scenes, I really enjoyed this book. Many times I couldn’t help but blurt out oohss and wtfs lol! You really shouldn’t read this in public!

I find this story cute and different from most erotic novels I’ve read. Jason and Haley share a lot in common and it’s not a heavy story to read. Just one of those feel good but still sexy as hell romance novels.

11. Naked (The Blackstone Affair) by Raine Miller

This book isn’t very likeable for being almost the same with Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared To You. But I think it’s also well-written, engaging and sizzling hot!

12. Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren

It’s not the best steamy romance novel for me buuut Chloe and Bennett’s story is fun and entertaining. I also enjoyed the other characters in the book.

Have you read any of these steamy romance novels? What’s your favourite one?
