Parents Are Furious Over Defective Hatchimals

Parents were left outraged after some hatchimals that caused hysteria around the world in the last few months were found to be defective.

These furby style creatures that hatch from an egg were undoubtedly the must-have Christmas present of the year and the high demand meant that they quickly sold out everywhere.

Because of its high demand, some people who were able to buy these toys have sold them online for huge profits, yet desperate parents were forced to pay more than double on Ebay and Gumtree just to have their child’s much wanted Christmas present.

However, things turned sour when it came time for hatching as some of the hatchimals failed to hatch. Some disappointed parents immediately complained about their defective hatchimals which prompted the Hatchimals’ manufacturer, Spin Master to issue troubleshooting suggestions through their Facebook Page.

However, many parents claimed that the solutions offered for the failure to hatch didn’t seem to help them. They said that they had tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions and were still left with unopened eggs.

While the company maintains that most of the toys are working correctly, social media suggests other wise, and the “Hatchimal won’t hatch” became a popular search term on Facebook and other parents have shared their Hatch-fails on Youtube.

There is no word as yet about what the company might do in response to the reports of defective Hatchimals.
