Washing Powders, detergents and liquids are a staple of our shopping and we really can’t go without them. After all, we need to wash our clothing!
But a new consumer review has shown that some of the products available from our supermarkets are only 3% more effective than using plain water to wash our clothing…
3%!!! Holy shitbags! Choice yearly tests the effectiveness of 100 different commercially available washing detergents on the market. They are tested for removing stains from:
- Perspiration (sweat marks)
- Grass and Mud
Each detergent was then given an overall score out of 100. Choice has also tested how environmentally friends each product was by testing their impact on gardens, recycling of packages and their affect on wastewater treatment plants (what rural people have when there are no sewage services available)
