Replacing your crappy hardware is an easy way to glam up your space to give it more of a high end look. Crystal knobs for the bathroom or silver and brass knobs for the kitchen will take your space to a high end finish.

6. Rearrange your book shelf

Having a great big bookshelf with all books lined up vertically can look a bit boring. A simple décor cheat is to stack some of the books horizontally and add storage cubes and baskets for placing all your knick knacks in. Using matching containers for storage, you could go as high end or as cheap as you want – the uniform look will give a classic feel.
