Melted Coloured Crayons is something simple to do and your kids will love to colour in with these. We made heart shapes but you can easily make whatever shape
You will need:
Thick crayons. You don’t need to purchase new ones. We found a heap of these in our old colouring in pencil box.
Silicone patty cases. You could use paper cases but these are non stick and the crayons come out so easily.
- Break up your crayons and place in silicone cases in a single layer.
- Preheat your oven to 160 degrees and put your crayons on a tray and place in oven.
- TURN YOUR OVEN OFF and leave crayons in for approx 12 minutes. I checked these every couple of minutes until they were completely melted but the colours hadn’t started to run into each other.
They always look like they are a failure but trust me once they have cooled they look amazing.
Once they are completely cool peel back the silicone cases and let the kids run wild.
