Book week is so near now! If you and your kids haven’t prepared for the event at all, then we hope this post sparks some motivation!
We have here a list of costume ideas that can be worn as a group!
1. Goldilocks and the Three Bears
2. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Perhaps the most important lesson we can get from the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is that we should be satisfied with how we look physically because if we focus on that too much, we’ll forget that it’s the personality that really counts. We shouldn’t let our insecurities eat us.
3. Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is all about friendship and about seeing the goodness of people. The story is heartwarming. You can find a lot of wise words as you read the story. It’s indeed one of the best children stories ever made.
4. Three Little Pigs
If you want to attain good result, you should work hard for it. The story of the Three Little Pigs is simple but the message is loud. If you choose to take shortcuts or the more convenient path, the foundation of your work will be weak. But if you work hard and take the right route, everything you’ve gained will not be taken nor destructed easily.
5. Three Blind Mice
Whenever we do something, there’s always a consequence that we have to deal with right after. And if you will be careless, the consequence might be not in your favor. The book Three Blind Mice was based on the nursery rhyme of the same title.
6. Alice In Wonderland
Alice is a kind, intelligent, and brave girl who conquers all the dangers in Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland is a book that shows that no matter how powerful your enemies are, for as long a you know you’re fighting for a good cause and you know who you are, you can win. Winning isn’t all about physical strength and magical powers, it’s about the determination to fight for what is right.
7. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
There’s indeed no place like home, and that’s one of the things that The Wonderful Wizard of Oz shows us. The very moment Dorothy sets foot in the world of Oz, she only has one aim, and that is to go back to Kansas. Oz might be magical and filled with powers, but those things aren’t at all better than being at the place where you really belong.
Madeline is a curious kid who loves to try things, even the quite dangerous ones. But even though she has a thirst for knowledge, she doesn’t break rules and disregard the boundaries. She’s obedient and kind. It’s cute to see a group of kids wearing Madeline’s uniform, especially if there’s Miss Clavel that guides them.
9. Beauty and the Beast
There’s more to what meets the eye. Beauty and the Beast has a beautiful message that everyone should be reminded of. Beauty isn’t everything, and it doesn’t in any way define who people really are. We shouldn’t give importance to the physical attributes but rather look beyond the flesh and discover the goodness that lies within a person’s heart.
10. Peter Pan
If you fill yourself with happiness, you’ll be able to feel like you’re being lifted up from the dark realities of the world. Just keep on looking at the bright side and don’t let the negative thoughts consume you. Just go with the flow and don’t be afraid to have dreams. No one is ever too young to have dreams.
