Calling A Spade, A Spade

Calling A Spade, A Spade

So, one of us was supposed to go and review 50 Shades of Grey last night so we could write up a post and fill you all in. Except when push came to shove the only two people who could be bothered to go, had to take the kids to sport training. Ms Ghievous was keen, but busy with her kids too. Even after she heard there would only be 20 minutes of sex.

But I personally had no interest in going. My lovely friend, at the height of it’s popularity, bought me 50 Shades of Grey for my birthday to read.

Given the hype, I tried to give it a go.

But, I couldn’t be bothered to finish it, as the glorified domestic violence and world’s most disgraceful excuse of a female role model made my moral fibres implode.

So I couldn’t be happier today to see almost those same words in every review I’ve read so far.

It’s about time we called a spade, a spade.

Put best into words in Lisa Wilkinson’s review on the Today show this morning ‘Fifty Shades of Grey is the worst movie I have ever seen.’

She only gave it one star – because she had a great choc top.

We love you Lisa!
