What is Your Fondest Memory of Books When You Were Growing Up?

For me, it was diving into the world of Enid Blyton and The Magic Faraway Tree and imagining what amazing adventure would be waiting for me at the top of the Magic Faraway Tree and meeting all the unusual characters that lived in its branches.

And who could forget Dr Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat In The Hat I’ll always remember that cat and that hat.

As I got older, I discovered the works of the Dungeons and Dragons writers but without that initial push from The Very Hungry Caterpillar, I never would have discovered the treasures to be found between the covers of a book.

Even today, pushing 50 years of age, I don’t mind escaping into a Harry Potter adventure once in a while and shrugging off this muggle mantle for a couple of happy hours.

Nothing beats the wonder and excitement to be found on the pages of a great piece of literature and memories of parents and grandparents reading us a book before bedtime, help to instil in us that sense of belonging and draw us closer as a family.

You too can have that feeling of closeness for your family with a new series of mini-books that will delight and engage your little people and bring forth giggles and gasps at storytime.

This second series of My Mini Books collectables from QBD Books contains new favourites that will delight readers from ages 3 to 12.
