Admit it, you have moments when you just sit there and wish you were not in your sweat pants, dreaming about saving the world.
It doesn’t happen too often, but we know those moments exist that’s why we have a list of kick arse female characters who make such an impact on women. From queens to boot donning protagonists, we have them all right here.
1. Khaleesi from Game of Thrones
Daenrys Targayen does not care much for power and desire only for respect that’s why the last thing she wanted was for people to be afraid of her. This is the very reason why she formed her own khalasar instead of joining the crones. She saved an entire slave army from Kraznys Mo Nakloz. If that isn’t enough for a kick-arse power, she is also the mother of dragons which basically means that she can somewhat control them in one way or another.
2. Arya Stark from Game of Thrones
The other characters in the series have underestimated Arys because of her size, and well, the fact that she’s a girl. She was raised away from her siblings and she grew up stronger than any of them. Wise and strong, she successfully slipped under Tywin’s nose pretending to be a male cupbearer without being noticed.
3. Clarice Starling from Silence of the Lambs
Everyone knows that Hannibal Lecter is one of the best and smartest serial killers in fiction and it’s awesome how Clarice had worked herself around Hannibal. Not everyone can do with ease what she did. Her greatest accomplishment would be being the only survivor among Hannibal’s victims.
4. Merida from Brave
Merida isn’t your typical Disney princess who needs to be saved by a man in a shining armor. In “Brave”, Merida is the hero and she has clearly demonstrated that a girl could stand up for herself at any given time.
6. She-Ra from She-Ra, Princess of Power
She-Ra is He-Man’s sister and she pretty much gives justice to her family’s name by saving her brother from time to time. Her demeanor is lovable and she’s given up her place in the palace to fight evil. Her sword is so powerful that it can alter or vanquish anyone or anything.
