Britney Spears

Britney Spears created quite a lot of noise in her years in the industry. Spears released her first single, Baby One More Time in 1998 and it reached the top of the pop charts at the end of 1999. Sharp criticisms were thrown at her because she wore a skimpier version of the traditional Catholic schoolgirl uniform which she just shrugged off. In 2000, her Oops! I Did It Again was another instant No. 1 on the album charts selling 1 million copies on its first week of release.

Why she’s a Diva: Whether it’s the It’s Britney, B****! or the Oops! I Did It Again line, we will always miss her signature sound. Admit it, no one else can quite fill her shoes. Britney grew up with the public’s eyes on her, and we loved her at The Mickey Mouse Club.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus grew up in the spotlight and was well loved as the spunky Hannah Montana. She’s always making waves with her eccentric hair choices, costumes and music videos.

Why she’s a Diva: Miley Cyrus chronicled the armpit hair dye trend. Beyond weird and unique, huh? Her quirkiness is admired by her fans, but she does have bashers and get awful criticisms which she completely shrugs off and goes on with her thing.

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is the perfect example of hard-work paying off. Meghan has worked in the music business for several years but 2015 is her year. Her All About That Bass was her ticket to stardom and her album, ‘Title’, reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts in January, and sold 195,000 copies during its first-week release.

Why she’s a Diva: She’s all about positive body image, she sings songs we should let our daughters listen to. Meghan sings to celebrate full figured ladies making women feel good about themselves. She’s sassy, witty, fun and cute. Her fans send her fan arts and she actually wears them. So much love!
