The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted the injured boy in stable condition, and met with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics at the Kingaroy Hospital helipad to airlift the boy to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.

The boy was wearing a helmet which helped to reduce the extent of his injuries.
