Mum Warns About Paedophile Who Tried To Lure Her Into Sex Games When She Posed Online As Her Teenage Daughter

A mother was shocked then furious after a suspected paedophile tried to ‘lure her into ‘master and slave’ sex games’ when she posed as her own 13-year-old daughter online.

Kelly Carberry, 34, from Lancashire, UK was only checking her daughter’s Facebook profile for the first time and was shocked when a message popped up saying ‘do you promise to keep your mouth shut?’

Right then and there, she knew something was wrong but decided to play along with the messages as if she was her 13-year-old daughter, Chloe-Marie.

She claimed that the alleged pervert was pretending to be a girl on Facebook, attempting to lure her into playing out ‘sadomasochistic fantasies’.

“I couldn’t believe it. This morning I thought I’d check her Facebook profile and four messages appeared from this weird person. I just started replying to him pretending to be her,” Ms Carberry said.

In one of his first messages, Ms Carberry said that the man wrote: “Do you promise to keep your mouth closed about what is said on here, staying in here only and you cannot tell anyone else okay?”

He then continued writing: “Are you in your bedroom on your own?”

“After a bit, I just told him I was her mum and said ‘what are you doing?’,” Ms Carberry said.

Thinking about the danger of how easily predators can groom children via social media, Ms Carberry went online to warn others against the man who was talking to her daughter, and realised she was not alone when she started getting messages from other concerned mothers, as the alleged paedophile had been trying to contact young girls from across the North West of England.

“After I posted the warning, other mothers have got in contact with the messages he has sent their daughters. I want to warn other children and their parents about this man. I have got his real name now after posting his picture too,” Ms Carberry said.

She said that one woman claimed she reported him to the police a few weeks ago. “Her daughter said something like ‘I’ve got to go to school now’ and he said ‘no you don’t, sit down’.”

Ms Carberry said that the alleged paedophile’s ‘about you’ section said: “I am Jess, a 31-year-old transgender female and I only speak to girls”. She said that the man deleted two of his accounts.

Ms Carberry said that she has spoken to her daughter about online safety, and has learnt a lesson to check her daughter’s activities online.

“She has a friend called Jess so I wondered if she might have added him thinking it was her. I’m not sure. I’ve told her what’s gone on. She hadn’t even messaged him back though which is good.

“I’m going to have to keep everything checked on social media from now on. It’s just what I have got to do as a parent to make sure they’re safe but it’s a difficult thing when she’s 13,” she said.

A spokesperson from Lancashire Police has confirmed that a report has been made and police are investigating it.
