Method

  1. In a saucepan melt the margarine until it is a liquid. Using a fork or whisk, add the flour and stir until it has dissolved into the margarine.

  2. Add the sugar, salt and pepper, then gradually whisk in the broth and the milk. Cook and stir until mixture is thick and bubbling.

  3. Boil for a full minute, then serve when still nice and hot
