Banana Ice Cream

Banana Ice Cream is a low fat, dairy-free dessert that you can make in about one minute.

We’re not kidding!

Go get those bananas in your kitchen and we’ll show you how to transform the lowly fruit into a lovely dessert.

PS. If you’re not too conscious top with chocolate syrup!

Method

  1. Add the frozen bananas to a food processor and whip until the consistency of soft serve ice cream.

  2. Serve piled high in a bowl!

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Banana Ice Cream is suitable to freeze for up to four weeks.
  • Seal in a ziplock bag before freezing.
  • This is a great way to use over ripe bananas. If you do have over ripe bananas in your fruit bowl, just peel them and pop them in a ziplock bag so you can make this dairy free ice cream whenever you like!
  • If you find the banana isn't coming together when you blitz it you can add a dollop of yoghurt.
