  • 600 ml Thickened Cream
  • 3 cups Cooked Spiral Pasta
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Infused Olive Oil
  • 1 Lemon zest

Basil Pesto Chicken Pasta

Basil Pesto Chicken Pasta. If you have made our Basil Pesto this recipe is a must! Easy yet so delicious.

Method

  1. Heat lemon olive oil in fry-pan over high heat and add 4-5 chicken tenderloins at a time and cook for 2 minutes each side.

  2. Slice chicken into chunks and place into a bowl.

  3. Continue until all chicken is cooked.

  4. Heat large saucepan and add cream and basil.

  5. Stirring until pesto is evenly mixed through cream.

  6. Add cooked pasta, chicken and lemon zest.

  7. Mix until all ingredients are well coated with creamy pesto blend.

  8. Reduce and simmer for 5 minutes.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Basil Pesto Chicken Pasta is not suitable to freeze.
  • Serve topped with shaved Parmasen Cheese and some lemon wedges.
  • You can substitute the lemon Olive Oil for plain Olive Oil.
  • Leftovers also make a great work lunch the next day. Ensure to keep refrigerated in an airtight container.
