  • 3 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Caster Sugar
  • 2/3 Butter 2/3 cup, melted
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 and 1/4 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Buttermilk (or just another ¾ cup milk)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

Method

  1. Melt butter in microwave then add to milk, buttermilk, egg and vanilla and whisk together.

  2. Sift all dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.

  3. Pour in wet ingredients mix gradually whisking continuously.

  4. Cook in batched over medium heat in butter (yum!) adding a small slice of butter to each batch.

  5. Use cookie cutters to create a theme for your breakfast.
