Beef and Lamb Recipes for the Freezer:
A regu is kinda like a bolognese sauce but is reduced over a long period of time. Even though it is simple to make – I still call it ‘Fancy Spaghetti’.
It is a scientific fact that Curry is best eaten after a few days of cooking. But I always freeze mine in batches first. The flavour still develops even though the mixture is frozen. Just damn delicious.
When you find this amazing cut at your local butcher, grab some in bulk. It really is just so delicious. This is one of my favourite Winter meals to make – it makes the house smell incredible and this recipe hasn’t been around for hundreds of years for nothing!
Lamb makes for the perfect casserole – sure, it isn’t cheap anymore (boo) – but for special occasions, nothing really beats this meat as a casserole dish.
You don’t have to use Guinness for this recipe – you can use any beer that you would actually drink – but the flavour of the beer really makes the meat so delectable – even the kids will love it!
Beef pieces and beer slow cooker do make for the perfect Winter comfort food combination. You can even turn this mix into a pie – like the recipe above!
