- Cut broccoli up into bite size pieces. Shake garlic salt over broccoli and steam in microwave for 3 minutes with 1/2 cup water.
- In a small saucepan (while broccoli is cooking) heat over high heat and melt butter, add cornflour and squeezed lemon juice into saucepan. Whisk until smooth and it starts to thicken.
- Drain any remaining water from broccoli and pour lemon butter sauce over broccoli.
- Serve as a side dish with meat, fish or chicken for dinner.
