This decadent Brownie-In-A-Mug is the perfect after dinner treat.

Great with fresh cream or ice cream, this simple recipe only takes a matter of minutes but has a definite WOW factor!

Method

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together, then add the wet.

  2. Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds.

  3. This brownie WILL NOT RISE so don't be alarmed if you end up with a flat cake - it's still amazingly YUM!

  4. Top with fresh cream or ice cream.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Brownie In a Mug is best made fresh just before eaten or it will harden.

As always, with most cakes in mugs, you are better off using a large mug, combining the ingredients in another bowl or jug and pouring it into the mug.

I keep batches of the dry ingredients pre-mixed in sandwich bags and add the wet ingredients when its time to bake.
