  • 30 g Cocoa, Sifted

It’s total perfection and easily be swapped between vanilla and chocolate!!!

I use a stand mixer with the paddle attachment to create this frosting because the more you beat it the better it becomes but you can use a hand mixer if you have one.

Makes enough frosting for loaf tin cake or 12 cupcakes with a basic coating of frosting. If you want to build the frosting high on the cupcakes then double the mixture.

For a 20cm cake double the mixture.

Method

  1. Place butter and icing sugar in a bowl and beat on low speed until combined.

  2. Combine vanilla and milk in a small bowl and slowly add to the frosting mixture.

  3. Once combined turn the speed high and beat the frosting for about 6 minutes.
