Caramel Pear Bread is just the recipe when you have a glut of over-ripe pears starting to rot in the fruit bowl… and it is just delicious! It would be totally awesome still warm with butter on it… mmmmmm!
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, bicarb soda, salt, cinnamon and sugar.
Add oil, eggs, pears, pecans (if using) and vanilla. Mix until just combined.
Pour into a greased or lined loaf tin and bake at 165 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until inserted skewer comes out clean.
