Cooking dinner night after night can get tedious which is why I love meals you can whip up in less than 30 minutes, like this delicious Chicken Curry in a Hurry, made in the new De’Longhi MultiFry. Chicken curry is delicious with Basmati rice and can also be frozen. Furthermore, leftover curry goes down just as well for lunch the next day.

Healthier, Tastier, Faster – Twenty Five Minute Chicken Curry

We’ve made quite a few different curry’s in the SAHM over the years but cooking curry in the De’Longhi MultiFry has got to be the easiest way to do it. The De’Longhi MultiFry is a low oil fryer and multicooker in one. You can cook family favourite like hot chips without the need to use a large amount of oil but you can also use the cooker to make healthier meals for your family. The non-stick ceramic bowl means you don’t need to use oil and the removable mixing paddle allows you to cook dishes that require constant stirring (like curry and risotto) but without the need to stir. You can also remove the paddle and use the cooker as a stove top or oven for dishes like quiche, pizza and even cakes.

The surround heating technology works to cook your meals in record time so there is less time spent cooking. You can simply put the ingredients in, turn the nozzle and walk away. Unpack the kid’s backpacks, help them with their homework, take a shower… then come back to a delicious chicken curry mixing away and ready when you are.

Method

  1. Insert the paddle in the De'Longhi MultuFry bowl.

  2. Chop the onion in a food processor and cut the carrots into cubes or rounds.

  3. Put the oil in the bowl and arrange the onion and carrots evenly on the bottom. Close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 4 on the De'Longhi MultiFry, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.

  4. Sauté for 5 min.

  5. Add the chicken that has been cut in pieces and floured along with the broth and salt and cook for another 5 min.

  6. Pour in the cream and milk and finish cooking for another 15 mins.
