Lemon Butter combines both sweet and sour flavours in one. It is easy to make and tastes great! It goes great on toast.

It may be unusual to spread lemon on your breakfast toast but I assure you that this Lemon Butter is so good that it can make your day happy!

This is a great substitute for the typical spreads because this is flavourful and healthy too! Lemons are a good source of Vitamin C, you know!

This isn’t time-consuming. You can make this in under 30 minutes!

You shouldn’t miss this yummy butter recipe! You can use this on anything, not just toast!


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a heatproof bowl.

  2. Whisk constantly over simmering water until the mixture thickens up and coats the back of a spoon. This may take up to 20 minutes, but possibly longer if not thickening.

  3. Remove from the heat and pour into a sterilised jar.

  4. When cool, label the lemon butter and add the date on it. Store in the fridge until required.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Lemon Butter is not suitable to freeze.
