  • 8 Chocolate Ripple Biscuits
  • 3 cups Custard
  • 200 g Caramel Top N Fill
  • 160 g Dollop Cream
  • 2 tbsp Salt Flakes
  • Custard if making at home
  • 2 tbsp Custard Powder
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 cups Milk

So there are some things you wouldn’t put in your mouth, but these Dreamy Salted Caramel Cups will have you begging for more. 50 Shades of Grey who?

Method

  1. Add 1 crushed biscuit to the base of each cup.

  2. Spoon two heaped tablespoons of custard into each cup.

  3. Spoon two heaped tablespoons of caramel top n fill into each cup.

  4. Spoon a dollop of cream onto the top of each cup.

  5. Sprinkle the top with the remaining crushed biscuit and sea salt flakes.

  6. Mix custard powder, brown sugar & milk together in microwave safe bowl or jug.

  7. Heat in microwave on high for 2 minutes, whisk until smooth then reheat on high for another 2 minutes. Whisk again until smooth.

  8. As the custard cools it will start to thicken.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Dreamy Salted Caramel Cups are suitable to make ahead of time on the day you are serving. If doing this leave step 4 & 5 out so they look pretty when you serve them. Otherwise best served when made.
  • Go find a quiet corner and enjoy this naughty dessert that will have you begging for more! Ok sorry I mean pop them into the fridge and wait for dessert.
