French Raisin Toast - Recipe from The Fresh Life with Megan

French Raisin Toast is a great way to jazz up your breakfast without getting every pot and pan out of the kitchen!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Frozen Raspberries, Thawed And Crushed
  • 8 Slices Thick Raisin Toast
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract/paste
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Method

  1. In a bowl mix egg, milk and vanilla
  2. Remove crusts from bread and slice into 3 even pieces
  3. Place the bread into the egg mixture flipping over to ensure its fully coated
  4. Heat fry pan on medium heat, add butter once melted, fry each side of bread 2-3 minutes until golden
  5. Top with crushed raspberries and ice cream
