Gluten allergies in your family and you are trying to think of different ways to make pizza bases? Try this great Quinoa Pizza Base!

Method

  1. Soak quinoa flakes in water for 1 hour.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir through.

  3. Heat sandwich press, then line with large sheet of baking paper, place 3/4 cup of quinoa mix onto baking paper then fold paper over so top and bottom are covered, close sandwich press.

  4. Make sure height setting is not on so sandwich press closes flat. Leave for 3-4 mins until golden brown.

  5. Top with desired pizza toppings and grill for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.

  6. Serve immediately.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Quinoa Pizza Base is not suitable for freezing or storing and best served immeddiately.
