Golden brown Yorkshire Puddings are the perfect accompaniment to a roast dinner and gravy. Thanks to Polly Anderson for this recipe!

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

  2. Pour 1 tablespoon of oil into six capacity muffin pans.

  3. Place in preheated oven for 5 minutes or until oil is hot.

  4. Combine the flour and salt in a bowl.

  5. Add the egg and whisk until combined.

  6. Gradually add the milk in a thin steady stream and whisk until smooth.

  7. Pour batter among the hot muffin pans.

  8. Bake in oven for 20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

  9. Golden Brown Yorkshire Pudding is suitable to freeze for up to one month.
