This is an amazingly simple Green Apple Slaw and will have your taste buds wanting more!

Green Apple Coleslaw will definitely be one of your go-to meal!

It is a fresher and crisper alternative to standard coleslaw flavours, and is particularly good with pulled pork. Or make this to serve on taco’s with pulled chicken for a fresh and delicious dinner!

Method

  1. Finely slice, cabbage, chives, snow peas, and mint then add to large salad bowl. Now remove apple core and thinly dice apple and add to salad mix.

  2. In a separate bowl mix mayonnaise and honey together. Now add to salad bowl and toss through until well coated.

  3. This dish is great with BBQ pork but truly goes well with any summer BBQ meat.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Green Apple Coleslaw is best served the day it's made. If making in advance keep the chopped salad in airtight container in refrigerator and honey mayonnaise in separate jar. Mix together just before serving. Can be made up to 2 days in advance this way.
  • Green Apple Coleslaw is not suitable to freeze.
