Ham, Cheese and Cucumber Sandwiches

Ham, Cheese and Cucumber Sandwiches

Filling your child’s sandwich with delicious and nutritious foods can be a bit tricky, especially if you have fussy kids. However, if you want to add a little bit of colour and a lot of goodness to the lunchbox, then these adorable ham, cheese and cucumber sandwiches are a must-try! Both kids and mums will be satisfied with these easy to make and fun to eat finger sandwiches from our friends at Tablelands Smart Spreads.

Tablelands Dairy Free Canola Spread

Method

  1.  Spread bread with Tablelands Smart Spread.

  2. Top with cucumber, ham and cheese.

  3. Cut off the crusts and cut into fingers.

  4. Ham, cheese and cucumber sandwiches are great for school lunches, for children's birthday parties, for special occasions like a baby shower or for a quick lunch at home.

  5. You can slice them into triangles or into itty bitty fingers for toddlers and you can have them on their own or with a soup or salad on the side.

  6. If not serving the sandwiches right away, wrap tightly in cling wrap and refrigerate

  7. We've used a number of different spreads over the years but my kids prefer Tablelands Smart Spread. It's actually quite surprising that they can tell the difference (especially as they can't figure out if their underwear is on backwards or not). Tablelands Smart Spread not only tastes great but it is also Aussie made and owned and contains no artificial flavours or colours. It has 65% less saturated fat than butter and is cholesterol free.
