  • 6 Hamburger Buns
  • 300 g Mince
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 French Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/2 Onion finely diced
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1/2 Iceburg Lettuce
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Beetroot sliced
  • 6 Pineapple Rings
  • 6 Cheese Slices
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for cooking

Who doesn’t love juicy homemade hamburgers! Here is a delicious recipe to make your own fantastic hamburgers at home.

Method

  1. Place mince, eggs, soup mix, onion, tomato sauce, breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl and mix with your hands until well combined.

  2. Roll into 6 hamburger patties.

  3. Heat fry pan to medium high with olive oil, add patties and cook for 4-5 minutes each side.

  4. Cut hamburger buns in half, butter and place slice of cheese on one side.Place under the grill to melt cheese tops.

  5. Spread mayonnaise on other side of buns and top with salads.

  6. Place pattie and bbq sauce and place melted cheese toasted bun on top and serve!

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Homemade Hamburgers are suitable for freezing just the patties, you can freeze uncooked (as long as you haven't thawed the minced to make them, otherwise cook then freeze).
