I love pork mince because there are a lot of ways to cook it and everything comes out yummy.. like these Juicy Pork Apple Meatballs.

Easy to make and the ingredients to make Juicy Pork Apple Meatballs are almost available just lying around in the kitchen. Plus, with the apple added in the mix it is an upgrade to your usual pork meatballs.

Did you know that this particular recipe makes around 18 average-sized meatballs? Yep. That’s dinner for the whole family right there.

Method

  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper and then preheat oven to 200 degrees.

  2. Just in case you haven't grated the apple, peel and grate the apple. Do the same with the onion. Both should be grated finely.

  3. In a medium or large-sized bowl, mix the egg (or eggs) and the pork mince together.

  4. Then, add the apple, onion, breadcrumbs, parsley and honey. Add salt and pepper, too. Add the mentioned ingredients one at a time and then mix as you add.

  5. Add flour to the mix gradually. Use up all or less than the half cup. When the mix gets thick enough you can stop adding flour.

  6. Once everything is mixed well, form it into average-sized meatballs then place on the baking tray.

  7. Place it in the oven and then cook for 12-15 minutes. The meatballs should look light golden brown and juicy at this point. You can cook it up to 20 minutes if you want the color to be more brown and the meatballs to be more crisp.
