Macaroni Cheese is a versatile side dish or ingredients can be increased, or added to, to make a simple dinner.
We love sprinkling over a couple of handfuls of bread crumbs for added texture.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 1/2 cups Macaroni uncooked
- 3 cups Cheese (cheddar) grated
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1 1000 Millilitre Milk
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp Parmasen Cheese

Method
- Place the butter in a saucepan until melted.
- Add the macaroni, milk, cheese, salt, and pepper to the butter and slowly bring to boil and let simmer for 12 -15 minutes.
- Make sure you keep the heat low to medium and stir constantly to prevent the milk from curdling!
- Place in an oven-safe dish, top with cheese and breadcrumbs, and bake in a 180-degree oven until brown and crisp.
