This super simple Sesame Chicken recipe is something my Romanian mother-in-law has been cooking us for as long as I can remember and it is always moist and delicious.

And I promise it’s not an its-an-old-lady-cooking-it-so-it-never-goes-wrong recipe. I have made it heaps and my 10-year-old has made it heaps and it is awesome!

It’s perfect served with mashed potatoes and salad leaves! Or even my broccoli mashed potatoes, you can find, here!

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

  2. Find a ceramic baking dish that fits the chicken thighs a little firmly.

  3. Drizzle over sesame oil, scatter over sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper and bake for 15 mins.

  4. Baste the thighs with the pan juice and bake for a further 15 mins or until cooked through.
