Method

  1. Dice onion and place in a large bowl. Lightly beat egg in a cup.

  2. Add mince, moroccan seasoning and egg to onion in bowl. Mix well with your hands- they really are the best option here, messy but true!

  3. Shape 2 tablespoons of mix into patties, set aside onto GLAD Bake Paper (so they don't stick). Continue until all mix is used.

  4. If freezing do so now before cooking. See our Freezing Tips below.

  5. If cooking heat frypan with olive oil over medium heat and cook each side for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

  6. Serve with a fresh bread roll, cheese slice, lettuce and tomato for a homemade burger with a twist!

  7. Buy your meat in bulk and double the recipe you will not only have more meals ready to go but also save money by buying a larger quantity

  8. For maximum freshness when it comes to freezing, wrap each individual patty with GLAD Cling Wrap first. Then take 6 patties and place flat into a medium size GLAD Snap Lock bag.  Freeze the patties raw and remove from the freezer when you are ready to cook them.

  9. Ensure you remove all air before sealing so your meat does not get freezer burn and to seal in the flavour and nutrition

  10. In addition to freezing your spiced hamburgers, freeze a bag of hamburger buns right next to your patties. That way, when you feel like burgers, you have everything you need right there ready to cook. All you have to do is chop up some fresh veggies, add some cheese and sauce and dinner is served!

  11. Avoiding Takeaway

  12. Freezing Right
