  • 1 Brown Onion diced
  • 2 Potatoes Chopped in small chunks
  • 2 Carrots chopped
  • 2 Celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 2 Cans Diced Tomatoes
  • 500 g Pasta shell or spiral
  • 8 cups Beef Stock
  • 4 Lamb Shanks

Lamb shanks are always a winner in winter and cooking them in the slow cooker makes them so moist and tender! You’ll enjoy this warm soup and the melt-in-your-mouth lamb meat!

Pasta and Lamb Shank Soup | Stay at Home Mum


  1. Brown onion and place in slow cooker.

  2. Place all ingredients apart from pasta in the slow cooker

  3. Season with salt and pepper and cook on low for 8  hours.

  4. Cook pasta according to the instructions on packet

  5. Remove shanks and chop meat, discard bones.

  6. Add meat back to the slow cooker. Add cooked pasta in as well and serve.
