  • 410 g Tin Chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 Carrots grated
  • 1 g Cheese grated
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Sumac
  • 1/4 Mango Chutney

Introducing Rice and Chickpea Balls ! With all the balls recipes on here, thought it might be time for a savoury balls recipe and bonus it is a gluten free one.

 


 

Method

  1. Process all ingredients, except breadcrumbs, in a food processor until combined.

  2. Roll tablespoonfuls into balls and coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. Place on a lined baking tray and bake at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crunchy.

  4. suitable for freezing

  5. Can be served hot or cold

  6. you can buy sumac from most supermarkets and health food stores in the spices aisle
