Method

  1. Place the chicken legs or chicken maryland pieces into the slow cooker.

  2. In a jug mix together the Thousand Island dressing, French onion soup and juice.

  3. Mix until well combined and pour over the chicken pieces.

  4. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4 - 5 hours or until the chicken is starting to fall off the bone.

  5. Serve on Fried Rice and with a fresh salad and crusty bread.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • This Slow Cooker Tropical Chicken is suitable for freezing. Allow to mixture to cool before sealing in a ziplock bag for up to two months.
  • Orange and passionfruit juice can be substituted for standard orange juice or orange and mango juice
