Ingredients

  • 2 Green Apples peeled and roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Mixed Berries frozen
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Mixed Spice
  • 1/2 cup Plain Flour
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 75 grams Cold Butter chopped
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 2 tbsp Pecans chopped (optional)


Method

  1. Place the apple, berries, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and mixed spice into slow cooker bowl and stir to evenly coat fruit. Set aside.
  2. Make the crumble topping by mixing flour, sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Rub in the butter with your fingertips until combined.
  4. Mix in the oats and pecans.
  5. Scatter the mixture over the fruit in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
  7. Serve the apple and berry crumble warm.
