How to Make Spaghetti Scones
Spaghetti Scones. We had a recipe floating around for something like this – but it was nasty when I tried it – so I’ve been mucking around with it and this one I think, is pretty darn good…. Try it and tell me what you think!
This is one of my boys favourite recipes to make because it is so simple!
The secret ingredient? A tin of spaghetti in tomato sauce!
Line a baking tray with baking paper and preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
Sift together the flours and salt and pepper.
Rub in the butter until you get a breadcrumb consistency.
Add spaghetti, sauce and egg and mix to a soft dough.
Knead the dough until smooth and cut scone rounds with a biscuit cutter.
Brush the spaghetti scones with milk and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
Recipe Hints and Tips:
