  • 420 gram tin of g Spaghetti In Tomato Sauce
  • 340 g Flour Self Raising
  • 220 g Wholemeal Self Raising Flour
  • 150 g Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

How to Make Spaghetti Scones

Spaghetti Scones. We had a recipe floating around for something like this – but it was nasty when I tried it – so I’ve been mucking around with it and this one I think, is pretty darn good…. Try it and tell me what you think!

This is one of my boys favourite recipes to make because it is so simple!

The secret ingredient?  A tin of spaghetti in tomato sauce!

  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper and preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

  2. Sift together the flours and salt and pepper.

  3. Rub in the butter until you get a breadcrumb consistency.

  4. Add spaghetti, sauce and egg and mix to a soft dough.

  5. Knead the dough until smooth and cut scone rounds with a biscuit cutter.

  6. Brush the spaghetti scones with milk and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Spaghetti Scones are suitable to freeze for up to two weeks.
