  • 500 g Beef Mince
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Chilli Con Carne Mix
  • 400 g Tin Kidney Beans or baked beans (optional)
  • 400 g Tin Diced Tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1 Red Capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 Zucchini grated
  • 1 cup Tasty Cheese grated
  • 1 Corn Chips

Tasty Nachos can be served anytime and anywhere. It is a 30-minute meal that people of all ages can enjoy.

It can be topped with your favourite toppings – sour cream is my fave!

Here is a simple and frugal recipe for you to try! Great for a quick mid week meal for the family.

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Cook the onion in a pan and add the mince to brown. Add the veggies to soften slightly.

  3. Combine the water and recipe mix and add to the pan with the tomatoes and beans.

  4. Spread the chips on an oven tray and pour the mince mixture over the top. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake until the cheese is melted.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Tasty Nachos are not suitable to freeze. Best eaten fresh.
  • Serve with sour cream if desired.
  • Chips should be crispy. However, if you want them soggy, simply leave them in the oven for a little while longer.
