Gift Ideas for Primary School Aged Girls

Shopping for a pre-teen girl can be tricky. They are no longer content with toy cars and dolls, but they are not yet ready for makeup and fashion accessories. If you’re struggling to find the perfect gift for a special pre-teen in your life, here are a few ideas to get you started.

One popular option is a digital camera. Pre-teens love to document their lives, and a small, easy-to-use digital camera is the perfect way for them to do so. Another idea is an arts and crafts set. Most pre-teens enjoy being creative, and an arts and crafts set will give them the opportunity to explore their artistic side.

If the pre-teen in your life is sporty, consider a new pair of sneakers or a sports-related gift. Whatever you choose, make sure it is something that the pre-teen will enjoy and use.

1. Get Their Ears Pierced

Provided you are happy for them to get it done, and they are old enough to take care of them, getting their ears pierced is a really great gift idea.  You can also let them choose the earrings of their choice.  The first pair of earrings a girl has should be reasonably good quality to help prevent any infections in the ear.

Take your girl to a professional piercer rather than getting them done at the local chemist or hairdresser (although some of these places do have fully trained staff – just check their credentials and certification!)
