Catch Up with Your School Friends with Colgate

App of the Week | Stay at Home Mum

School for me was full of unforgettable ups and downs. Of awkward moments, rolling down socks and hitching up skirts.  But not only that, it was the stepping stone, the mould, for which made me, I believe, the person I am today.

It’s been such a pleasure walking down memory lane with my old school pals, reminiscing, and all with the help of the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures app on Facebook!
Colgate have created an app on Facebook where people can re-connect with their old school pals by creating their own class photos and, as an added bonus,  you go in the running to win an iPad for your old school and yourself and I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you my experiences and memories of school.

School wasn’t always easy for me, especially in the early Days. I was a geeky, Red-Head girl from the bush with no friends or anyone I knew at my new school, in a new town.
On my first day at school I clearly remember the first person to befriend me, and I will be forever grateful to her for her kindness and generosity…Thank you Vicki!

App of the week | Stay at Home MumAs the years went on I found my place, not only at school, but in Dubbo also. It was getting easier, I made lots of friends – some of whom have become my life-long Pals. We weren’t always perfect, and goodness knows we played a ruckass on our poor teachers, but we made it through to our graduation, a fun amazing time, and even though we were saddened to be leaving one another, we did it all with hope, still smiling brightly looking forward to the future and not knowing what it had in store for us…. The future, thank you to our experiences and education, was very bright!

The Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures App was a great way to reconnect with old friends and I am in the running to win an iPad for me and for my former School. … I know The Dubbo Christian School will be wrapped if I win one for them, but as all things, you have to be in it to win it!!
