Hands Off My Nutella

“It started out as a joke..”

The inventor of a gadget that keeps Nutella safely locked up from prying hands told The Local.

But for lovers of the mouth-watering hazelnut spread, this is no joke. This is genius.

German designer Daniel Schobloch has come up with an idea to help Nutella lovers everywhere protect their hoard.

“The idea started out as a joke,” Schobloch quipped.  “One of my friends was always getting worked up because his children were stealing his Nutella.”

The design is simple. It is an acrylic cover and padlock, which prevents the lid from being removed.

So effective, the invention took off and soon found a market on Ebay In Germany.  Now the product has gone viral.

So whether you enjoy the addictive gooey spread on toast, pancakes or by the spoonful; one things for sure..
