Mum Warns Others About Severe Head Pain After An Orgasm That Put Her In Hospital

A mother has spoken about how her orgasm has put her in hospital after it left her with severe head pains, she ‘wanted to die.’

Mum-of-three Tania Escobar, 44, from Darwin, was enjoying an intimate morning session with her husband, Leonardo, 37, when, after reaching a climax, she was hit with ‘excruciating’ head pain.

“We were mucking around and when I reached orgasm the headache hit. It was instantaneous,” she told Daily Mail Australia. “I wanted to die. It just hurt so bad, having a baby was less painful.”

Ms Escobar was immediately rushed to hospital after realising that the head pain was not normal. “I knew I had to go to hospital. A headache like that was not normal – it was overwhelming. I felt nauseous, I felt like vomiting. The pain was that bad,” she said.

When tests were taken, it was learned that her blood pressure was ‘phenomenal.’ “My pulse rate and blood pressure sent the machines crazy,” she continued. “I was scared I was going to have a stroke.”

Ms Escobar remained in hospital for 24 hours under observation as medics feared she may have a stroke. “Their first thought was that it was a stroke,” she said.

After the horrifying incident, Ms Escobar says she ‘still had a little bit of a problem with heart rate after that for a couple of months.’

Now, Ms Escobar spoke out to raise awareness about the danger of post-sex head pain, and that people who experience headaches during sex should take it seriously.

“Headaches after sex are more common than people realise. Any headaches occurring with orgasm should be investigated by a doctor. It’s not something you should just brush aside.

“It can happen to men too – and if anything men are less inclined to go to the doctor than women are,” she said.

Earlier this week, a UK mother, Lucinda Allen, 38, from Stourbridge in the West Midlands, revealed how an orgasm caused her to have a stroke and eventually become paralysed. After climaxing twice, she experienced a sharp pain just above her right eye.

The headache was the cause of a brain haemorrhage and Lucinda has now been left paralysed down her left side and is now in a wheelchair.
