This is my Grandma’s shortbread recipe.

See, I come from a large family with lots of Aunties, Uncles and cousins. Grandma used to make us all a batch of every Christmas. They are delicious and easy to make.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 Degrees

  2. In a bowl add the butter and sugar cream using electric mixer until light and fluffy

  3. In another bowl, sift flour and rice flour together

  4. Lightly knead together until smooth

  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out and cut into a desired shape

  6. Place on greased oven tray and bake for 30 minutes until pale brown
