Nut Crusted Baked Salmon

Salmon is a special adult treat in our house, and the best way to cook it (in our eyes anyway) is using this Nut Crusted Baked Salmon recipe. Crunchy and scrumptious, this is one dinner that you’ll definitely be looking forward too. Along with great flavours, this one is super easy so it’s absolutely recommended.

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees celcuis and prepare a baking tray by greasing it.

  2. In one small bowl, combine the mustard, butter and honey, mixing well.

  3. In another bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, crushed pecans and parsley (diced).

  4. Season each salmon fillet with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Place on your lightly greased baking tray and brush with the honey-mustard mix, then cover each fillet with the breadcrumb-nut mix.

  5. Bake for around 5 minutes per cm of thickness of your fillets (measure the thickest part of the salmon). The fish is ready when the salmon just flakes off when tested with a fork.

  6. Serve with lemon squeezed on top.
